Monday: Students will finish defining drama terms and then work with a partner on the "Getting to Know Shakespeare's Language" Activity. (This is due tomorrow at the beginning of class.)
Tuesday: Students will discuss the form and function of sonnets and then begin writing their own sonnets.
Wednesday: Students will finish writing their sonnets and turn them in before they go.
Thursday: Students will begin to analyze the prologue to Romeo and Juliet. After putting it in order, we will begin to translate it by creating a comic strip prologue.
Friday: Students will finish creating their comic strip prologues, and we will assign speaking parts for Act I.
